Humanitarian Aid for Zimbabwe

The Government of the Czech Republic approved a humanitarian aid grant of CZK 3 million for the people of Zimbabwe.
First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Karel Schwarzenberg approved on 25/7/2012 a humanitarian aid grant to be channeled through the international NGO Médecins Sans Frontières.
The funds will be used in the rural parts of the Midlands Province. Their aim is to enhance the prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS and support other areas of the provincial healthcare system.
The Czech Republic has been regularly supporting Zimbabwe through humanitarian aid and development cooperation projects.
