This year, a public health center will be built with the support of the Czech Republic in the Mozambican district of Báruè. The center should significantly contribute to improving health care standards and availability for local, mostly rural population. For instance, a maternity dispensary for pregnant women and mothers will be part of the center. The Moz-Agri farm, on whose property the new center will be situated, is a partner organisation of the project.

Similar so-called small development projects have been recently completed by the Czech Republic in Zimbabwe and Zambia.
