From the late 1950s until present day, over 21,500 foreign nationals have completed their studies at Czech Higher Education Institutions with a Government Scholarship.

Six university scholarships in total will be available for enrollment in 2013 to the following academic programs:

Bachelors, Masters, Doctoral Programs taught in Czech: medicine, geology, economics, agriculture, veterinary medicine (two scholarships offered in Zambia, two in Zimbabwe);

Masters and Doctoral Programs taught in English: agriculture, economics (commerce) and computer science (one scholarship offered in Zambia, one in Zimbabwe).

The deadline for the applications is 9 November 2012.

Prospective students from both countries should also initiate contact with the respective authorities in both Zimbabwe and Zambia and inform them about their intention to apply for a Czech Government University Scholarship.
