Visit of the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Nečas in Finland. In Helsinki the Prime Minister met Speaker of the Finnish Parliament Eero Heinäluoma, Prime Minister Jyrki Katainen and President Sauli Niinistö. During the visit a Czech-Finnish business forum was organized with the participation of business delegations from the both countries.

Consultations of State Secretary of the Ministry for Foreign Affaires of Finland Jaakko Laajava with First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and State Secretary for EU Affairs Jiří Schneider in Prague. The Director of Unit for Central, Western and Southern Europe Päivi Pohjanheimo also took part in the consultations.

Visit of 12 programming managers from the European Regional Development Fund Department of the Prague City Hall. During their stay in Finland managers visited several state institutions encl. the Ministry of Employment and Economy and TEKES – the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation. They learned practical experience when visiting the city of Kotka and having consultations with the Regional Government and Regional Development Company Cursor.

Visit of Ambassador-at-Large for energy Václav Bartuška and Ján Štuller, Director of the Department for licensing new sources of The State Office for Nuclear Safety, on a building site of the nuclear power plant Olkiluoto 3. Negotiations with companies TVO and Areva.

On June 1st, 2012, Ministr Kuba and other experts on energy paid a visit to the site of the nuclear power plant Olkiluoto 3 and the spent fuel repository in Onkalo. He discussed with the representatives of the investor, TVO Oy, and the repository, Posiva Oy, about the ongoing works and experiences from the nuclear power plant´s construction.

Visit of prof. Michal Mejstřík hosted by the International Chamber of Commerce. Prof. Mejstřík met representatives of Finnish enterprise and state, gave his views on the Competitiveness of a Small Economy and also visited the biggest Finnish firm Nokia.

Working visit of a delegation of the Committeefor science, education, culture, youth and sport of the Chamber of Deputiesof the Parliament of the Czech Republic. The delegation was led by parliament member Vlasta Bohdalová, the other members of the delegation were Adam Rykala and Ivana Levá. Besides the discussions with the Education and Culture Committee and the Committee for the Future of the Parliament of Finland the delegation visited the Ministry of Education and The Finnish National Board of Education.

Working visit of a delegation of the Committee on Health and Social Policy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic led by the chairwoman of the Committee Mrs. Daniela Filipiová. The other members of the delegation were Senators Zdeněk Schwarz, Miluše Horská and Jan Žaloudík. Besides a meeting with the Social Affairs and Health Committee of the Parliament of Finland the delegation visited the Finnish Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, a hospital in the Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa (HUS), A-Clinic Foundation for drug addicts and Helsinki City Rescue Department.
