Seminar on the Eurozone crisis

Seminar „Still an option? The view on the euro crisis in and outside the Eurozone“ was held on 23 January 2013 in the Finnish Parliament Annex Auditorium. The event organized in cooperation with the Finnish Institute of International Affairs belongs among the Visegrad (V4) countries´ activities in Helsinki. Speeches were presented by delegates from the Visegrad countries, the Czech Republic was represented by Prof Petr Drulák, Ph.D. - Director of the Institute of International Relations.
The other speakers were Mr Paweł Świeboda, President of demosEUROPA – Centre for European Strategy in Warsaw and Mr Péter Balázs, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, former member of the European Commission and Professor at Central European University in Budapest. Comments on the speeches were presented by Prof Pekka Sutela from Aalto University School of Business in Helsinki and Dr Zuzana Fungáčová, Senior Economist from Bank of Finland Institute for Economies in Transition (BOFIT). The seminar drew attention of many experts and representatioves of diplomatic community who filled almost the whole Parliament Annex Auditorium.
