School headmasters of Hradec Králové region in Finland

During the week 16 – 20 April a group of 44 headmasters from all different school types of Hradec Králové region visited Finland in order to get acquainted with the Finnish education system in the frame of the project called Development of competences of leading personnel in schools and school institutions of Hradec Králové region – Model of professional education.
The Finnish education system is thanks to long-time excellent results, based on international PISA comparison organized made by OECD, considered to be one of the best in the world. The study group therefore visited a wide range of organizations in the Finnish education system beginning with the Ministry of education through the Adult Education Associationto different types of schools. Mutual comparison, especially at schools as such, would be according to the participants of the study trip very equal.
At the end of the excursion the participants shared their impressions with the representatives of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Helsinki.
