Artwork by the Children of the Terezin Camp in Hong Kong

The Exhibition "An Oasis of Survival and Hope" organized by the Hong Kong Holocaust and Tolerance Centre at the Central Market Walkway in Hong Kong features artwork produced by the Children of the Terezin Camp.

The exhibition An Oasis of Survival and Hope also showcases artwork produced by pupils from Hong Kong schools (Elsa High School and Sha Tin College) as well as information panels about different aspects of the Holocaust and other Genocides. It is a useful learning tool for all children learning about World War 2 as well as issues around Racism and Tolerance

The Czech Consul General in Hong Kong, Mr. Jaroslav Kantůrek, participated together with other CG´s and important guests at the opening ceremony, which was held on October 21st October 2013. The exhibition was oficially opened by Ms. Kimberley Mann, Manager of the Holocaust and the United Nations Outreach Programme in New York.
