Leoš Janáček´s Opera The Cunning Little Vixen in Hong Kong

The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts has prepared in cooperation with Royal Conservatoire of Scotland performance of the famous opera the Cunning Little Vixen (Liška Bystrouška) by the Czech composer Leoš Janáček. The performance of the opera will take place at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts on March, 19, 21 and 23 2013.

The opera is directed by the UK director Tom Hawks, and conducted by Timothy Dean, the Head of Opera of Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

The Cunning Little Vixen performance in Hong Kong belongs to the project "Helmut Sohmen and Peter Thompson International Artists Series". This project is considered a significant achievement for the Hong Kong public culture as well as for promotion of the Janáček work in Asia.
