Team from the Masaryk University at the International Student´s Moot Court in Hong Kong

The Faculty of Law of the Masaryk University in Brno has sent for the second time its team to participate on the annual student competition - "Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot", which took place at the City University of Hong Kong from 10. to 17. 3. 2013.
The team from the Law Faculty of the Masaryk University (LwF MUNI) in Brno was among 93 teams from the law faculties worldwide participating on this year’s "Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot" in Hong Kong.
The Czech team consisting of two coaches (teachers Tereza Kyselovská and Slavomír Halla) and five students (Kamila Holoubková, Linda Thielová, Martin Šlampa, Michal Malaník and Jiří Uhříček), which was preparing for this competition for almost a year, stood against the teams from the USA, India, South Korea and Japan during the oral hearings. The Czech team did not make it to the final rounds of the competition, however, two students from the team were awarded prestigious Honorable Mention for the Best Advocate.
Among the judges of the Moot Court were also two Czech lawyers - Michal Čáp and Tomáš Hulle.
