The Czech Republic Academic Week at the Hong Kong Baptist University

"The Czech Republic Academic Week" organized by the European Studies Society from the Hong Kong Baptist University with the help of the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Hong Kong took place from 28.1. to 1. 2. 2013.

The Czech Republic Academic Week, which was was organized by the European Studies Societyfrom the Hong Kong Baptist University with the help of the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Hong Kong, took place from 28.1. till 1. 2. 2013 at the Hong Kong Baptist University premises.

The main goal of this event was to give the students deeper knowledge about the Czech history, politics, culture and economy. The Consul General of the Czech Republic in Hong Kong, Mr. Jaroslav Kantůrek, had a speech at the opening ceremony of the Czech Republic Academic Week. Apart from the opening ceremony students had an opportunity to attend special seminar about the Czech Republic political history, see an exhibition about the Czech Republic history together with a video about the Czech Republic and attend the screening of the Czech movie Deep Blue World.
