The Director of the MFA’s Diplomatic Academy and the Director of Instituto Cervantes in Prague discussed possibilities of strengthening their cooperation.

The Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has cooperated with Instituto Cervantes in Prague in the field of language training of Czech diplomats. The directors of both institutions met on 26 September 2013 to discuss other possible fields of cooperation.

The MFA’s Diplomatic Academy is responsible for the language training of Czech diplomats and administrative staff of the MFA.  Spanish courses are organized in cooperation with Instituto Cervantes in Prague, which provides teachers for both standard language courses and special courses of diplomatic Spanish.

On 26 September 2013, the Director of the Diplomatic Academy, Mrs. Věra Jeřábková, and the Director of Instituto Cervantes, Mr. Ramiro Villapadierna, met to discuss opportunities for enhanced cooperation. They agreed that organising lectures in Spanish on topics related to diplomacy and international relations would be an area of special interest to both institutions.
