Czech ODA projects in Afghanistan

The Czech Republic currently implements 4 bilateral projects in Afghanistan (2 in agriculture sector and 2 in education sector), total value: 18 mil. CZK (approx. 1 mil. USD).in 2012. In addition to that Czech Embassy in Kabul implemented 6 small local projects (total value: 0,5 mil. CZK = approx. 25 000 USD) in 2012.
Czech PRT has implemented 40 projects (62 mil. CZK = approx. 3 mil. USD) and 18 quick impact projects (2,8 mil. CZK = approx. 140 000 USD) in 2012
Total Official Development Assistance (ODA) provided by Czech Republic to Afghanistan in 2011: 200,8 mil. CZK.
In 2012/13 school year, the Czech Republic offered 4 government scholarships to Afghan students. At the same time, there are a total of 10 students enrolled in schools in the Czech Republic (predominantly in engineering programmes).
