(This article expired 14.09.2014.)

Date: 26.09.2013 , Venue: Czernin Palace

On 26 September 2013, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic hosts another meeting of the multilateral Eastern Partnership Public Administration Panel. Representatives of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine as well as EU institutions and Member States will be among the participants.

The meeting is organised twice a year by the European External Action Service; this time, it will focus on evaluating the primarily training and advisory activities which have taken place under the Panel since 2011, with the help of the European Commission, and on the future Work Plan of the Panel for the period after 2014.

Special focus of the meeting will be the activities at the local government level as the Czech Republic is the leading state within the Eastern Partnership for the local and regional dimension of administrative reforms. The Eastern Partnership is one of the main Czech foreign policy priorities. The Czech Republic has decided to focus on the local and regional level as it considers its transition experience in this area relevant for post-Soviet countries.
