Project Czech Path to the EU was realized by EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy from June 2007 until December 2007. More than forty participants from entire Bosnia and Herzegovina (journalists, NGO representatives and local government representatives) participated in the project. There were two main activities in the project: trainings in Sarajevo and study trip to the Czech Republic. Participants passed five days of intensive training in different topics related to the Czech experience with the accession process to the EU. On the other hand, participants of the study trip had the possibility to meet, discuss and set up new professional partnerships with their counterparts from the Czech Republic.

The trainings itself took place from Wednesday November, 21 until Sunday November, 26. More than forty participants passed through almost thirty hours of training, which were prepared by five Czech and three local (Bosnian) trainers. There was a joint programme for all the participants during the first day of trainings. All the other days, the participants passed through a specialized training according to the group they belonged to (journalists, NGO representatives and local government representatives).

Together sixteen participants (6 NGO representatives, 5 journalists, 5 local government representatives) came to Prague from Bosnia and Herzegovina for a study trip that took place from December, 9 until December, 15.  These participants passed through intensive five day programme during which they had the possibility to meet their counterparts and also other stakeholders whose experience could be relevant for their work. NGO representatives took part in 18 meetings, journalists took part in 16 meetings and visits of different media and local government representatives conducted two visits to Kovarov (Villige of the Year 2004) and Liberec and took part in another 10 meetings.
