Organization of educational events for the city council’s representatives

Organization of training for the Civic Advisory Committee members of the city council of Batumi

Competition for the best project proposal

Creation of a database of citizens interested in taking part in activities of the Civil Advisory Committee of the city council of Batumi

Creation and approval of the Civil Advisory Committee’s statutes  

Establishment of the Civil Advisory Committee of the city council in Batumi   

Organization of education events for the Civil Advisory Centre’s members

Launch of the Civil Advisory Centre’s activity

Organization of training in strategic planning and target programmes  

Organization of a meeting of local citizens with the Civil Advisory Committee

Submission of quarterly reports

TV programmes on the local “Adjara” channel

 

Achieved outputs:

Increased motivation of the civil society and of city council members for getting citizens and civil organizations involved in decision-making processes

Increased capacity of the civil society’s representatives

Application of legal norms governing the civil society’s participation in decision-making processes Increased capacity of the Civil Advisory Centre’s members

Functioning Civil Advisory Centre  

Increased practical knowledge of representatives of the local self-government (municipal government) in Batumi of strategic planning and target programmes

Meetings of local citizens with the Civil Advisory Committee have taken place

Elaborated quarterly reports on fulfilment of the Civil Advisory Committee and city council’s tasks and duties

TV programmes on the local “Adjara” channel
