Project aims:
- To create a framework for expert debate on problems connected with the accession of Kosovo to the EU by building a platform for formulation of policy recommendations in areas key for the Kosovar society and belonging to European standards;
- To increase the capacity to conduct such a debate, formulate problems and solutions to them using the Czech expertise, to facilitate know-how and best practices transfer from the Czech Republic to Kosovo
- To strengthen domestic debate in Kosovo on key issues which will contribute to local ownership of ideas and policy solutions;
- To advocate proposed solutions by transposing the outcomes of expert debate to political decisions
These aims were achieved through following activities:
- Two-day training in Kosovo for NGO representatives on policy cycle and policy papers writing
- Creation of three working groups in three public policy areas: rule of law, economic reforms and education
- Elaboration of eight policy briefs in these three areas, published in the final printed volume
- Three public seminars with NGOs, public authorities' representatives, political actors and media
