Professor Stanislav Štech was appointed as Chairman of the Czech Commission for UNESCO on 1st February 2017.
In conformity with the Statutes of the Czech Commission for UNESCO, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic appoints the Chairman of the Czech Commission for UNESCO upon the proposal of the Commission. The term of office is two years.
