Czech Technology Days

Czech technology days have a 6 year tradition. CTD consist of presentations of Czech researchers and innovative entrepreneurs active in specific RandD segment to their partners in a given technologically advanced country. The emphasis is put on applied research and commercialization of new technologies. The objective is to establish or facilitate contacts and create a framework for future mutually beneficial cooperation.

Excellent Czech teams discuss with their partners concrete projects for cooperation. Desirable outcomes are: agreements on students and postgraduates exchange, signing new memoranda on cooperation, common projects with commercial potential, exchange of best practices on cooperation between universities and industry, identifying investors in new technologies.

During 2011 and 2012, a number of Czech technology days type events took place in different countries, namely the USA, Canada, Brazil, China, Japan, South Korea, Israel addressing various RandD segments (information and communication technologies, sustainable energy, bio and nanotechnologies, new materials, automotive industry related technologies).
