Tomáš Dub will be appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic on Monday, August 30, 2010. Tomáš Dub is going to replace Deputy Minister for Economic Diplomacy Helena Bambasová. Helena Bambasová was appointed Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Hungary.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic learnt with outrage of the recent terrorist attack on an army recruitment centre in Baghdad. The ministry strongly condemns this inhuman act and shares the deep sorrow with families of 51 victims who have perished in this attack and more than one hundred of wounded.

Czech Republic helps in Russia

In the letter minister Schwarzenberg expressed solidarity of citizens of the Czech Republic to citizens of Russia who were stricken by disastrous fires.
