Humanitarian aid to Pakistan

On 28 May 2009 Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Jan Kohout approved granting of humanitarian aid to Pakistan in the amount of 5 million Czech Crowns.

Aid will be released from the humanitarian budget of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and via UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) granted to people who had to leave their homes following the government operations in the Swat Valley.
