Minister Jan Kohout met a representative of Cuban exile

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Jan Kohout discussed current situation and issues of human rights in Cuba with a representative of Cuban exile in Miami Eduard Pérez at a meeting. Minister Kohout expressed a deep condolences on a decease of a political prisoner Orlando Zapata Tamayo and anxiety of worsening health conditions of Guillermo Fariñas.

Kohout and Pérez agreed the current human rights situation in Cuba raises fears. Minister Kohout emphasized a need to release all political prisoners, especially the ones in a bad state of health.
