The meeting was organized during the first official visit of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia which was traditionally headed to the Czech Republic. It was the first meeting at ministerial level for Karel Schwarzenberg since his appointment of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic too. The meeting of the heads of diplomacy was an expression of special importance and exceptional good bilateral relations between the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
