Tuscany alley and Czernin Palace garden opened to public

 

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Karel Schwarzenberg officially opened Tuscany alley on September 20, 2010. Tuscany alley is opened to visitors daily 6 am to 6 pm. It will be closed in winter (December 1 - March 31).

Zahrada Černínského paláceTuscany alley adjoins to Tuscany Palace, one of seats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. Tuscany alley connects Hradcanske namesti square with Loretanska street. It is a picturesque place of Prague which has been hidden to public so far.

The Czernin Palace garden will be opened on Tuesday, September 28, from 9 am to 5 pm. Czernin Palace is a headquarter of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic (Prague, Loretanske namesti 5). Visitors will have an unique opportunity view a garden of the largest baroque palace in Prague which has been closed to public. An exhibition "Matthias Bernand Braun and his art work in Kuks" showing an unique view on sculptures of famous Czech baroque sculptor in magical landscape of Kuks in photographs of Jan Bartoš is going to be viewed in the garden. From 2011 the Czernin Palace garden will be opened according to a regular timetable.
