Minister Schwarzenberg expressed support for reform efforts and pro-european direction of Moldova at the meeting with minister Leanca. According to minister Schwarzenberg, Moldova is not on a way to Europe because it is part of Europe.

Ministers agreed on joint interest in development of bilateral cooperation, including intensification of trade and creating favourable conditions for Czech investors. Ministers signed the Memorandum of Cooperation for European Integration. The Agreement on Cooperation in Education, Culture, Science, Youth and Sports was signed In presence of Minister of Education of Moldova.

Minister Schwarzenberg attended 3rd informal ministerial meeting „Group of the European Action of the Republic of Moldova“ in Chisinau. The meeting was attended by Štefan Füle, European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy. The meeting was aimed on support for reform efforts and pro-european direction of Moldova.
