Czech Presidency in the Visegrad Group launched

 

The Presidency of the Czech Republic in the Visegrad Group was launched on July 1, 2011. The Czech Republic took charge of the Presidency after the Slovak Republic.

"Innovative Visegrad" is the motto of the Czech Presidency. Ability of proposing innovative ideas and solutions in areas of common interests should be emphasized by the motto. The Czech Presidency will concentrate on the issues of European Agenda, the Eastern Partnership, supporting the steps taken by Western Balkan countries towards EU integration and the further strengthening of cohesion of V4 countries. The Czech Presidency will aim towards joint positions of V4 countries and propose projects in mentioned issues in particular.
