It is the first conference held in cooperation with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, united 57 Islamic countries of the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

The conference is held under auspicies of Prime MInister of the Czech Republic Petr Nečas, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Karel Schwarzenberg, Minister of Industry and Trade Martin Kuba and First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Přemysl Sobotka.
