Statement of the Czech MFA on Presidential Elections in Austria

The Czech Republic has followed with interest the development of presidential elections in Austria. The MFA has considered both candidates to be important political personalities of European format. The deepening and the widening of partnership and cooperation between the Czech Republic and Austria, countries with economic ties, close cultural relations, frequent civic contacts, and also the common future in the EU are among top priorities of the Czech foreign policy.
