The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemns the terrorist attacks commited in the night of 24th - 25th August 2004 in the Russian Federation.

The attacks on two civilian airplanes have claimed many innocent victims and have confirmed, that terrorism knows no borders in terms of nationality or religion. No claim can be enforced by denying the fundamental human right - the right to live.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its condolence to the families of the victims and its support to the Russian Federation in the fight against terrorism.
