MFA Statement on Terrorist Attacks in Volgograd

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic strongly condemns the terrorist attacks that occurred in the Russian city of Volgograd on 29 and 30 December 2013. These attacks against civilians underscore once again the importance of the fight against terrorism.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs considers the attacks barbaric acts and expresses its condolences and solidarity to the families and relatives of the victims. In this regard, Czech Foreign Minister Jan Kohout and other official representatives of the Czech Republic have sent condolences to their Russian counterparts.
