Deputy Foreign and Defence Ministers of the Czech Republic and Poland met in Prague

On February 16-17 political-security consultations between the Czech and Polish Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense took place in Prague with the participation of representatives of the General Staffs.
The delegations were led by the First Deputy Ministers – Mr Jiří Schneider and Mr Šedivý on the Czech side and Mr Boguslaw Winid a Zbigniew Włosowicz on the Polish side. The talks focused on strategic issues and topics related to the preparations of the NATO Summit in Chicago in May 2012 as well as on strengthening military cooperation in both bilateral and regional context through specific projects.
