King Norodom Sihamoni at the Czernin Palace

His Majesty King of Cambodia Norodom Sihamoni visited the Czernin Palace, a seat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during his private stay in the Czech Republic. He became acquainted with history of the Palace and Czech diplomacy. In the Masaryk´s apartment HIs Majesty King listened to an account of circumstances of a tragical demise of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czechoslovakia Jan Masaryk who died in a fortnight after 1948 communist putsch. His Majesty KIng signed the guestbook and was awarded by the Jan Masaryk Silver Memorial Medal.
