Deputy Minister Schneider led 4th Round of Czech-U.S. Strategic Dialogue

On March 28, 2012 the fourth round of the Czech-U.S. Strategic Dialogue will took place in the Czernin Palace. The dialogue was led by the First Deputy Minister Jiří Schneider and the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Philip Gordon.
The 2012 round of the Dialogue was focused on politico-security issues such as the run-up to NATO’s Chicago Summit and the collaboration in Afghanistan. Both sides consulted their economic and scientific cooperation as well as their joint programs in transformation assistance.
The Strategic Dialogue was launched in 2008 to strengthen the bilateral cooperation in political, security, economic and human rights areas. It takes place on a yearly basis.
