He participated in a panel entitled "Are the Balkans Finally a Success Story?". He stressed, inter alia, the importance of regional cooperation for a successful journey of the Western Balkans to European and Euro-Atlantic structures and highlighted the example of the Visegrád Group.

As part of his visit, he met the director of the Office for European Integration Milan Pajević, foreign policy advisor to the President of the Republic of Serbia Marko Djuric and State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Vera Mavrica. They discussed strengthening of bilateral relations and cooperation, including cooperation in economy and trade, as well as a broad context of the European integration process of Serbia.
