Transition Promotion Program: results of the call for proposals for Ukrainian NGOs

The Embassy of the Czech Republic received over 160 applications within the call for proposals for Ukrainian NGOs in areas of media literacy, human rights, anticorruption and judicial reforms . We are glad that the call for proposals published on May 30, 2017 attracted such attention. All participants should have been already informed about the results.

The projects which were selected and will receive financial support are following:

Promoting Critical Thinking and Media Literacy in Ukrainian Public

  1. Policy Options: Online Simulator of the Ukrainian State Budget” implemented by Center for Social and Economic Research, CASE Ukraine

  2. Critical Thinking Against Populism” implemented byPublic organization" Centre for Economic Strategy"

  3. Development, creation, and implementation a massive open online course “Critical Thinking and Fact Checking: Strategies and Procedures” implemented by NGO Prometheus

  4. Trust but Verify. Media Literacy in Ukrainian Society” implemented by NGO Pictoric

Advocacy, Advising and Implementation of Anti-corruption and Judicial Reforms

  1. Сitizen engagement in the process of judicial reform” implemented by DeJuRe Foundation

  2. Civic support for the Anti-Corruption Court Launch” implemented by Transparency International Ukraine

  3. Raising the professional level of journalists in the investigation of corruption in the construction industry by creating an analytical database” implemented by Nashi Groshi

  4. Combatting corrupt practices in everyday life of Ukrainians” implemented by Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation (DIF)

Monitoring, Analysis and Advocacy of Human Rights in Crimea and/or Luhansk and Donetsk Oblasts
