Invitation to Czech Defense Technology Presentation at LIMA '17, Langkawi, Malaysia 22nd March, 2017

Embassy of the Czech Republic in Kuala Lumpur would like to cordially invite you to the Czech Defense Technology Presentation held during the LIMA '17 exhibition on Wednesday, 22nd March 2017, at 16:00, Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre, Product Demonstration Area.

The presentation will showcase Czech businesses bringing cutting edge defense technologies from such diverse fields as military jet trainers, radiolocation and multilateration, inflatable decoys, UAV propulsion, vertical wind tunnels and ruggedized ICT infrastructure solutions for field use.

The presentation aims to increase awareness of the innovative Czech businesses in the defense sector and establish relevant business contacts between them and the visiting armed forces' officials and businesses interested in cooperation with their Czech counterparts.

16:00 – Opening remarks by the Ambassador of the Czech Republic, H.E. Mr. Rudolf Hykl

16:05 – 16:50 – Presentations:

  • Presentation of Czech Defense Technology Sector by Mr. Vojtěch Hromek, Economic Counsellor of the Embassy
  • Company presentations of the participating Czech companies:
    • OMNIPOL - Fighter training, transport aircraft solutions, radiolocation (including multilateration)
    • AERO Vodochody Aerospace – Military training jets
    • RETIA - Manufacture and modernization of radars, missile systems, C4I systems, recording systems, UWB localization and communication systems
    • OPTOKON - Ruggedized connectivity and infrastructure solutions for field use
    • Inflatech - Advanced  inflatable decoys
    • PBS Velká Bíteš - Turbojet, turboprop and turboshaft engines, APUs and ECS for unmanned aircraft and drones
    • Strojírna Litvínov - Vertical wind tunnels for paratrooper and freefall training
