New Czech Ambassador Presented Credentials to H.M. King of Malaysia

The New Czech Ambassador to Malaysia, H.E. Rudolf Hykl, presented Letters of Credence of the President of the Czech Republic to His Majesty, The Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the King of Malaysia. Through this act, Mr. Rudolf Hykl has officially assumed the post of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic in Malaysia.

The ceremony took place in the new royal palace of Istana Negara in the capital of Malaysia of Kuala Lumpur. It included a salute by the Guards of Honour from the Royal Malaysian Army to  Amb. Hykl,  the presentation of Letters of Credence by Amb. Hykl to  His Majesty,  The Yang  di-Pertuan Agong, the King of Malaysia in the Throne Room of the Palace, and an audience on His Majesty, the King of Malaysia, and Her Majesty the Raja Permaisuri Agong, the Queen of Malaysia, by Ambassador Rudolf Hykl and his spouse, Mrs. Dasa Hyklova.

Ambassadors of People's Republic of China, Mexico, Australia, Oman and Egypt presented their Letters of Credence on the same day.

Her Majesty Raja Permaisuri Agong is first from the right, and from the left are Ambassador Hykl, his spouse Dasa Hyklova and Y.B. Dato' Hamzah Zainudin, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia.
