On May 15 -16, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea organized 53rd international charity fair. Czech Embassy in London was among 75 participating embassies offering their traditional products. The aim of the project is to support children and families in need.
Traditional charity event is organized every spring to support the CFAB (Protecting Children and Uniting Families Across Borders) under the patronage of HRH Princess Alexandra. Participating embassies sell national products and promote their countries.
Czech products (wooden toys, jewellery, china, and crystal) were donated by several companies, such as Škoda UK, Ag Plus, Phoenix Crystal, Lasvit, Archa Program, Ceeda Cavity, Kouzelné hračky, Epiag Lofida. Mineral water Mattoni and Pilsner Urquell beer were available for customers, too.
Ambassador´s wife Ms Jana Zantovska presented the Czech stand to HRH Princess Alexandra and to Charles Gray, Her Majesty´s Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps.
During the last 50 years, the CFAB international charity fair became an important social event in London.
