In 2011, Prague Conservatory, one of the most important institutions teaching music in Central Europe, celebrated the 200th anniversary of its existence. "Czech Musical Melting Pot" is the title of a concert project organised by Tereza Anna Přívratská, a talented Czech violinist, together with the Royal Academy of Music in London to commemorate this anniversary. The concert will take place at the Royal Academy of Music, David Josefowitz Recital Hall, on Friday June 15, 2012, at 7:30 pm. The programme will feature a selection of pieces by Bohuslav Martinů, Leoš Janáček, Antonín Dvořák, Josef Suk, and Jiří Gemrot. The interpreters of the compositions are young artists, most of them students or graduates of the Royal Academy of Music in London.
