British Czech and Slovak Association cordially invites its members and guests to an evening organised in cooperation with the Czech Embassy around the publication of a new English translation of Erben´s Kytice by Susan Reynolds.

Along with Mácha´s Máj and Němcová´s Babička, the poetic cycle Kytice by Karel Jaromír Erben is one of the best-loved and indeed most important creations of the 19th century Czech literature. Curator of the British Library´s Czech and Slovak collections, Susan Reynolds is responsible for this new, definitive translation of Erben´s masterpiece.
