HOW TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR A SCHENGEN VISA

I. If you wish to apply for a Schengen visa, you need to book an appointment in advance. In order to simplify the visa application procedure, the Embassy introduced the VISAPOINT appointment booking system for short stay Schengen visas.

Book your appointment at: https://visapoint.eu/

In order to register it is necessary to have access to an e-mail address where confirmation of registration (Tracking Number) can be sent. Please Note: If you do not confirm your registration within 60 minutes of receiving the confirmation email then that date/time slot will be given to another applicant and you will have to re-apply for a new date/time slot. Registration can be done by the applicant himself/herself, by the inviting party or by any other person. Registration is free of charge. Submitting a registration does not mean that the visa will be issued.

PLEASE, FOLLOW PRECISELY THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN ON THE VISAPOINT BOOKING SYSTEM. ONLY APPLICANTS WHO HAVE CONFIRMED and BOOKED THEIR APPOINTMENT WILL BE ALLOWED TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION.

To cancel your reservation at any time please send an e-mail to visa.london@embassy.mzv.cz with your request and mentioning your tracking number, your name and the passport number.

Important information to note when applying for a short stay Schengen Visa

  • Applications for short stay Schengen visas can be made any time from 3 months (but no later than 15 days) before your planned travel date. It takes up to 15 days (in some cases 30 days) to obtain a visa from the time your application form has been lodged at the Embassy.
  • When registering on VISAPOINT please write your name in full (including any middle names) as they appear on your passport.
  • It is essential to bring your tracking number with you when coming to the Embassy for your appointment.
  • Please follow the instructions in full for registering on the VISAPOINT system.  Incorrect registration will result in you not being allowed to submit an application and no interview will be held. The Embassy will not be held responsible for incorrect registrations.

Please read the appendix for the minimum system requirements necessary to access VISAPOINT 2 on your computer.
