How to make an appointment for a Schengen visa

If you wish to apply for a Schengen visa, you need to book an appointment in advance.

We are pleased to introduce a telephone appointment booking system. It is a 24-hour, fully automated service operated in conjuction with Cablecom Productions available on 09065 540 727. (Calls cost 1,02 GBP per minute from BT landlines only. Other network costs may vary.)

Please note that all persons wishing to apply for Schengen visas must make an appointment in advance (except the family members of the EU/EEA nationals).

This is the only way to get a visa appointment for submitting the short-term visa application. Applicant without appointment will not be admitted to the Visa Section. If you have any possible problems with your appointment booking, Cablecom Productions can be contacted by sending an email to admin@cablecom.com.

Diplomatic Missions in the UK may lodge their applications without prior appointment as well. Please email on visa.london@embassy.mzv.cz

The family members of the EU/EEA nationals can submit their visa applications without previous notice on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:00 to 11:45. All applications must be made IN PERSON at the embassy. Postal applications will not be accepted.

Please note when presented a public document (Marriage or Birth certificate) it must be apostilled or superlegalized to be accepted by the Czech authorities as a proof of your relationship to the EU/EEA national.

For further information you can contact the visa section via email visa.london@embassy.mzv.cz.
