Czech Companies at the Farnborough International Airshow

The 48th Farnborough International Airshow took place between 9 and 15 July 2012. As a mark of its importance Czech aircraft producers and parts/services suppliers have been participating at the exhibition since the early 1990s. This year the following companies and organisations took part: Aero Vodochody, Aero Trade, Aircraft Industries, První Brněnská Strojírna , Evektor, Jihostroj, Jihlavan, Lom Praha, Czech Airlines Technics, Czech Invest, the Association of the Czech Aviation Manufacturers, the Czech Space Aliance and the Confederation of the Czech Aviation Industry.
At the start of this years show a seminar hosted by the Confederation of the Czech Aviation Industry, CzechInvest and the Czech Embassy on challanges facing the aviation industry was held at the Aero Vodochody stand. It was attended by many British and foreign aviation industry representatives. The main guest speakers at the seminar were Paul Theofan, president of GE Aviation and Eduardo Bonini, senior vice president of Embraer.
