Czech and Slovak students in London chose their King of May

Czech and Slovak Embassy in London's Notting Hill came alive with celebration of Czech-Slovak student rag on Friday 27 April. More than one hundred students at that time residing in British universities met here, according to ancient custom enjoyed the arrival of spring, the state of freedom and lightness of student life.
The evening was inaugurated by May themed poetry of Karel Hynek Macha and Allen Ginsberg and culminated with the election of Jan Indracek (Oxford) who became this year's King of May. Pictures from the evening are to be found on Czech Embassy Facebook.
