Minister Vlastimil Picek visited the United Kingdom

On 28 June 2013 the Czech Republic Defence Minister, Mr Vlastimil Picek, visited the United Kingdom. During his visit he attended a remembrance ceremony at the Brookwood Memorial Cemetery to honour the memory of the Czechoslovak soldiers fallen during the Second World War. Later in that day, at a ceremony organised by the Czech Embassy in London Minister Picek presented the Czech Republic Minister of Defence Golden Linden medal to Colonel Arnost Polak, chairman of the Free Czechoslovak Air Force Association UK.
