Open House London at the Czech Embassy

On the occasion of the upcoming Open House weekend on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September, the Czech and Slovak Embassies, situated on Kensington Palace Gardens, will open their doors to public and welcome those interested in the unique “brutal” architecture of the complex, which was granted the RIBA Architecture Award in 1971 and which, more than 40 year after its completion, keeps provoking emotions. During the Open House weekend, the Embassies will be open to public from 10am to 5pm. The visitors will be able to see the exhibition 'Jan Bočan – Architect' featuring the work of one of the designers of the buildings, and eventually get some Czech and Slovak refreshments.
