"The Name of the Village was deleted" Exposition in London

An Exhibition on the history of Lidice, a small Czech village razed by the Nazis during the WWII, was opened at the Czech Embassy in London on May 10. The opening remarks by Ambassador Michael Zantovsky and Dr. Eduard Stehlik from the Military History Institute in Prague were followed by excerpts from a book "If I were a boy I would have been shot" by Jaroslava Sklenickova.
