Dasha Kovarik, Czech compatriot and wife of an artist Oton Kovarik passed away

With great sadness, The Consulate of the Czech Republic in Los Angeles informs of passing away of an outstanding and loveable Czech compatriot Dasha Kovarik wife of a legendary artist Oton Kovarik.
Mrs. Kovarik died in Los Angeles on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at the age of 89. Dasha Kovarik together with her husband came to California in 1966 and were grateful for their second American homeland that welcomed them. However, they always loved their Czech fatherland and were great promoters of Czech culture. Passing of Mrs. Kovarik is a great loss for Czech community in the United States.
