Concert of Iva Bittova

The Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Los Angeles, in cooperation with the Society of Arts and Sciences (SVU), had the honor of organizing a concert for the outstanding Czech musician Iva Bittova.
The concert, which took place on October 23 at the residence of the
Consul General, was one of the cultural highlights for the autumn program of the Czech
Consulate.
Musical innovator Bittova creates a distinctive synthesis of folk, jazz, and classical music that
is able to dazzle diverse audiences. She performs contemporary pieces as well, with some of
her well-known work from the Czech film “Balada pro banditu” (“A Ballad for the Bandits”).
Singer and violinist Bittova is currently on a concert tour in the USA.
