The Petrof Concert Series 2012 Continues

The Petrof Concert Series 2012 continued with the style of contemporary jazz performances. On April 22, 2012, Czech saxophonist Borek Smekal and pianist Fabio Tedde performed at the residence of Consul General Michal Sedlacek. Their music included pieces from their collaboration on their albums „Dream with Me“ and „Place for Everyone,“ as well as a wonderful session of improvisation.
Both musicians are visiting Los Angeles from London, where they currently live. They played together at the concert for the Consulate General and continue to perform at the street festival “Play me, I am yours,” which has been taking place all throughout Los Angeles for three weeks beginning April 12, 2012

In fact, the highlight of the Petrof Concert Series 2012 is still to come! A greatly anicipated concert of renowned Czech pianist and composer Emil Viklický, along with exceptional American saxophonist Benny Golbin will take place at the residence of the Consul General on May 25, 2012, at 6:00 p.m.
