Since 1971 SEMICON West has been the premier event for the display of new products and technologies for microelectronics design and manufacturing, featuring technologies from across the microelectronics supply  in the Moscone Center in San Francisco, close to Silicon Valley – the leading U.S. center for high-tech innovation and development.

With more than 30 000 attendees and over 700 exhibiters, SEMICON West was a valuable opportunity for Czech companies to promote their semiconductor successes and pursue new relationships with a global audience. Among participating exhibitors, at the Czech Republic booth supported by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, were firms as SVCS Process Innovation s.r.o. and UNITES Systems a.s. with its system Solar Kerberos.

Driven by the dynamic challenges to sustain and the emerging opportunities in adjacent industries, SEMICON West continues for the next years to be unrivaled focal point for the most current  ICT Word technology developments. Therefore the Czech Republic will continue with its promotion of Czech ICT technologies in the United States at SEMICON and other venues in the future.
